About me
Executive Coach and Psychologist
Working internationally I see how our world of geopolitical upheaval, climate emergency, social injustice and systemic crises, results in a real struggle for ‘Business As Usual’.
As an Executive Coach and Psychologist, I’ve felt the discomfort of ‘carrying on as normal’. It was necessary to do my own learning to understand the bigger picture, and challenge my lifelong beliefs and values. This has enabled me to now coach others.
I work with leaders who are sitting with questions such as:
• Is my work meaningful given what is happening in the world?
• How can my organisation be a force for good in the world?
• What type of world am I leaving my children and grandchildren, nephews, nieces, the generations who will come next?
• If I could do something meaningful with my experience and talents, what would that be?
Times of crisis bring opportunity to look again at what we thought to be so.
Sometimes a different type of thinking, or a different ‘consciousness’ (Einstein) is required.
In today’s world there isn’t one neat problem which can be solved in a linear, causal problem solving methodology. Instead, we must roll up our sleeves and get stuck in. We must be prepared to grapple with complexity and with not-knowing. And discover that something important is waiting to emerge; in our roles, in our organisations and in our lives.
Do I have hope? Yes, but it’s the type of hope which is active, and engaged. I can explain more when we meet.
I have been privileged to be a thinking partner, confidante and coach to leaders for 30 years. I had led £4M+ leadership development contracts, and teams of 16 consultants. I have consulted to organisations of all shapes and sizes, giving me a deep understanding of the inner world of managers and leaders. I have worked across the UK and Ireland, as well as internationally in the US, Australia and EMEA.
My clients tell me that I bring humility, wisdom, empathy and a deep care, to my work as a coach. I have been a Chartered Psychologist for 30 years, and an Accredited Executive Coach for 15 years. I also support other Executive Coaches as an Accredited Coach Supervisor.

I have had both the pleasure and comfort of working with Wendy over the past year. I look forward to each session because I know I will walk away feeling motivated, invigorated and excited to move forward and that my worries or challenges will magically evolve into opportunities for me to grow. Wendy is a five star fresh breeze of positivity and infectious wellbeing with whom I will continue to rely on as my partner in coaching supervision over the coming year.

Wendy's support over a number of friendly, unhurried sessions has enabled me to think through what I truly feel about the world, the future, and how I want to fit into that. I'd like to be part of creating a better world for myself and others (and our kids), and Wendy provides gentle encouragement and 'framing' for how to think that through and come to some practical ways to address that desire.

I got to know Wendy as a coach trainer and supervisor when I was studying my ILM level seven certificate. My immediate impression of Wendy was one of nurture, someone that I could fully trust to normalise and encourage my learning experience. When I was then seeking out coaching for myself I didn’t hesitate in contacting Wendy. Our sessions were always hugely encouraging and when I asked for more challenge, Wendy was able to adapt her coaching style to provide it. I also really like how Wendy incorporates mindfulness into her sessions. In such a busy world, being able to ground oneself at the beginning of a session is hugely important to me. C. J.

Sometimes we need a space to think and be without pressure but with the kind of support and challenge that enables us to get somewhere with our thoughts. Wendy is that space. I really appreciate the freedom she allows for exploration that she so easily combines with insightful clarity. My place in this world and the value I bring seems more relevant and more hopeful after a session with Wendy. S.A,
