Anne explains why she is qualified

There are three strands to this.

My mental health landscape includes childhood trauma, suicide of those close, diagnosis of depression, caring for people with acute challenges, including neurodiversity, and a winding journey through different treatments and lifestyle choices that enables me to thrive today. I understand the landscape, have worked and continue to do so globally,  and I know that a systemic approach is what we need to change outcomes.

I have taken an academic interest in psychology, neuroscience, biology, nutrition, trauma, somatic approaches, an MSc in Psychology of Wellbeing (which included time out in the community supporting people with mental health challenges). I am accredited to run the suite of courses with MHFA England, through Royal Society of Public Health. I am also a trained Suicide First Aid trainer and volunteer among those is crisis. I’m a Trauma informed coach, graduating with the fabulous Dr Susanna Peche.

I am a ICF PCC coach, a certified Coach Supervisor, a Mentor Coach with a busy portfolio of coaches and leaders primarily in professional services. As a coach I value clinical supervision, group supervision and 1:1 support. To continue to help with my own navigation I work with a psychotherapist who has transformed by own trauma challenges. My grandchildren bring me joy and a richness to life that has a positive impact on my own health. I’ve horses and chickens, a close family, and a few special friends.

What do people say who’ve taken the course

“I really enjoyed the course and having the opportunity to discuss such a sensitive topic in a safe environment. The content was excellent, and the pace of the course was spot on. I really liked having 4 half-day sessions as opposed to 2 full days. The pre-work and wider reading were very good too”.

“This course was really worth of participating. I gained so much more knowledge, understanding, and confidence in mental health issues. The course material is very clear and helpful, and I know I will go back to them. The course instructor Anne Archer added a lot of value to the course materials by explaining key points and sharing her experiences. The group was very supportive and the discussions in the group, and in pairs/trios gave the possibility to deepen the- learning. Thank you!”

“I loved this course in terms of how it was structured and delivered. I thought the pre-work was really good to start connecting with the material and the work in the group was invaluable in exploring how to pull it all together in practice. I have already recommended Anne to my coach supervisor who is looking to refresh her own mental health first aid and I will continue to put the word out there. Thank you.”
