We ask a lot from leaders today. People expect you to be strong and independent, and to ‘lead from the front’ in rapidly changing environments, often under great pressure. Simultaneously, you are required to be available to others, to be supportive and inspiring. Good leadership is as much about how we show up, as it is about our skills and previous experience.

This workshop will focus on the ‘being’ of a leader, and help you to develop your leadership presence. We will look at how you can go beyond the ‘technical skills’ of leadership and identify how to build capacity and range, and develop the ability to respond rather than react, so that you can be more available to yourself and to others.

Learning Outcomes

This workshop will help you:

  • understand your leadership style and its strengths and pitfalls
  • identify new habits to support you in building your leadership range
  • understand the importance of emotions as a leader
  • identify practices to build your capacity to respond rather than react under pressure

Who is this for

Suitable for anyone with a leadership role (formal or informal), who wants to develop their leadership capabilities.
