Insights change us. They invoke deep transformations. But how do they work?
Psyche comes from the Greek word psykhe which means ‘the soul, mind, spirit, or invisible animating entity which occupies the physical body.’
In this program we will explore the role ‘psykhe’ plays in your life and work, and how insights bring about transformation. We will focus not on tools and techniques, but the way life works.
As scientific research gained momentum in its early days, the soul/spiritual aspect of how life worked was set aside by psychologists, neuroscientists, biologist and physicists because it could not be scientifically proven. Yet it’s always been an integral part of how life works. Einstein recognised it as such, quantum physicists like Lothar Schaffer and other scientists are pointing to it more and more.
After publishing her book, Coaching Presence, Maria’s personal development took a turn towards spiritual understanding, which led to her most recent book, A Caged Mind, How Spiritual Understanding Changed a Life. In writing about pivotal moments in her life, Maria was able to investigate the nature of how transformational shifts occurred, through insight.
Throughout the eight weeks, using her book A Caged Mind as a steppingstone, we will explore the ‘Psykhe’, the nature of insights and how these two combine to bring about transformation in ourselves and others whether inside or outside of a coaching relationship. It will in an interactive, intuitive and experiential reflection into how life and transformation works.
