About me
Executive coach and strategic partner for senior leaders in large, complex organisations.
__
Senior leadership is demanding. The higher you go, the less space there is to talk honestly, think clearly, plan deliberately, or focus on your own direction. That's exactly where I work.
I'm Deborah, an executive coach and strategic partner based in the North of England, working with senior leaders and executives across large, complex organisations. With 20+ years as a director in banking, I understand the pace, pressure, and politics of life at the top. For nearly a decade, I've coached hundreds of leaders through the moments that matter most.
Many of my clients come to me with a clear goal in mind. They want a promotion. They want to move into a more senior or more stretching role. They want to plan their next career move with clarity and confidence, and make sure they show up ready when the opportunity comes. Sometimes they've been passed over and want to understand why. Sometimes an opportunity is coming and they want to be properly prepared for it. That's work I love - helping ambitious, capable leaders step up deliberately and land well.
Others arrive at a different kind of crossroads. After a tough period, a big change, or simply too long without proper space to think, they need to regroup, refocus, and find their footing again.
And some want a trusted partner for the long term - someone who understands their world, challenges their thinking, and is genuinely in their corner through the complexity of sustained senior leadership.
Whatever brings you here, the work is always bespoke, always grounded in your reality, and shaped entirely around you. No off-the-shelf programmes. No generic frameworks. Just focused, high-trust partnership that moves you forward.
I work virtually with leaders across the UK. In-person sessions are available close to Skipton, North Yorkshire.
If credentials matter to you, I’ve got the right badges - I hold ICF PCC accreditation, a PG Cert in Personal and Business Coaching, and am a Strengthscope Master practitioner. CPD is a priority – most recently I completed an Advanced Certificate in Neurodiversity for Coaches. Additionally, I've authored two books on burnout, resilience and confidence, and am a qualified nutritional therapist.
If you're ready to take the next step, I'd love to have a conversation. You'll find a fuller picture on my website and LinkedIn - both will give you a real sense of who I am before we speak.
