I am the founder of Momentum Coaching, an organisation dedicated to empowering leaders and teams to achieve their full potential through tailored coaching and leadership development programs.
I work with Senior Leadership, Leadership Teams and those aspiring to leadership, through 1-1 coaching, team coaching, group coaching, facilitated networks & training.
Clients work with me to cut thorough the noise and get on track, to make plans and grow their careers, to communicate their ideas and vision more clearly, to maximise the effectiveness of their teams through skills profiling, to re-energise, to embrace risk, to develop new strategic skills, to align their leadership approach in a more authentic way. In short, anything that allows them to take on the challenge with more energy and clarity.
I've been there & I get it. Running a multi million pound budget in a system that is broken. Finding ways to do more with less and to sustain a team weary from the fight. Meeting the complexity of the world around us head on and finding way to get people though, so that we can be successful. And managing the pressure and (often) isolation that comes from being the final word in an organisation.
My current client base is diverse, with clients in : Education (obviously!) Pharmaceuticals, Local government, Health Care, Policy Strategy, PR, Sports Foundation, the Charitable sector, Judicial system, Finance, Music industry, Insurance & Computer Game industry.
I create a safe space for leaders to pause and reflect on the challenges in front of them & offer support to broaden thinking/awareness. Whether that's support with strategic problem solving, specific skills development or simply the chance to take a big picture view. I help grow awareness and challenge embedded thinking, allowing clients to move on quickly.
My expertise lies in helping leaders align personal and organisational values, navigate change, and structure communication to maximise effectiveness and drive innovation. Through our coaching, leaders and their teams become stronger.
Through facilitated networks, I create a space for leaders to learn with their peers and develop a network of support outside of their own workplace. Some of our groups have been working together for years & reaping the benefits of a network of like minded professionals.
My team and I operate both nationally and internationally, tailoring their services to meet the unique needs of each client.
Coaching Accreditation & Experience An ICF-accredited coach with training from Barefoot Coaching and a PG Cert in Business & Personal Coaching (WBIS), I bring over 15 years of school leadership experience, including 10 years as a headteacher and 5 years as a Head of School and School Improvement Advisor.

I have been working with Emma now for approximately 10 months. In my role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Family Liaison, in a 3 intake primary school, I deal with, what are at times, very difficult and emotional issues. My fortnightly session with Emma allow me to talk through either part of my case load or my own response to my work.
Emma creates an open and empathic space for us to work in. At times Emma will make suggestions based on her own experience, but often the sessions are an exploration rather than a destination. I find this professional coaching of huge support, and believe that they support my mental and emotional wellbeing.
I would have no hesitation in recommending and encouraging other professionals to benefit from her time and expertise. J.P.
