About me
Executive Coach - Reading
Most of the people I work with arrive at a turning point. Maybe they have just come back from leave and nothing fits the way it used to. Maybe a quieter question has surfaced. Is this still the life I want? Either way, something is asking to be looked at.
That is the work I do.
I am an executive coach, and I support working people through the transitions that change us. Returning to work. Renegotiating ambition. Refinding purpose when the old version of success no longer quite lands. These shifts rarely announce themselves loudly. They tend to arrive as a low hum of restlessness, or a sense of being slightly out of step with your own life.
My approach is grounded in three things.
A background in occupational psychology, which means I understand how people actually change at work, not just in theory.
Training with the NeuroLeadership Institute in brain-based coaching, so our conversations are shaped by how learning, motivation and change really happen. And somatic coaching, certified through Become Coaching and Training, which keeps the work honest. The body tends to know things before the mind catches up.
I am accredited by the International Coaching Federation.
I coach through a framework I developed called Ground, Listen, Rise. We start by getting steady. We listen for what is really going on, underneath the noise and the to-do lists. And then we move, deliberately, towards what wants to come next. It is not about fixing you. There is nothing to fix. It is about helping you hear yourself clearly again.
Before I trained as a coach, I spent over a decade in management consulting, leading leadership development and transformation programmes across the public and private sectors. I have sat in plenty of rooms with senior leaders. I know the pressure, the pace, and the quiet cost it can carry for the people holding it all together.
I also know the territory personally. I have navigated my own returns, my own identity wobbles, my own renegotiations of what ambition means now. None of it is tidy. All of it is workable.
What you can expect from me is warmth and honesty in equal measure. I will hold space for you to think out loud. I will also ask the question you have been avoiding, gently, when the moment is right. I am not here to hand you a five-step plan. I am here to help you find your own footing, and trust it.
If you are standing at one of those turning points, refinding purpose, rebuilding confidence, working out which direction is actually yours, I would love to talk.
You do not have to have it all figured out before we start. That is rather the point.

Since working with Laura I have gained clarity, confidence and found new possibilities within my field. I feel like I've moved away from overwhelm and confusion and become really clear and confident about what I want. I trust myself more. We've done a lot on body-based knowing which I really appreciate as it grounds me and stops things being too heady - from here the right ideas come. Angela.

Laura helped me identify and transition into mission-led work after redundancy. She was patient, constructive and really understood my position - adapting her coaching to fit exactly what I needed. RC, General Manager
