About me
Career Coach - London
With a background in client-facing roles and as an HR generalist, relationships have always been important to me. I see coaching as an extension of that. We all know life isn’t simple. My clients might typically be:
• Navigating change in their life and balancing work and life such as mid-career women balancing busy lives but still trying to consider 'what next?' and perhaps lacking confidence
• Returning to work after a gap - this could be after maternity or a career break
• Reflecting on 'what next' post cancer treatment.
It's a safe place to explore those questions:
• What next?
• What do I offer now?
• Where did my confidence go?
Career Experience & Highlights: I am an experienced HR and Learning professional with 20 years’ service in the learning and communications industry delivering to internal and external clients; an award-winning senior project manager in digital learning and, from 2010 to 2018, a strategic HR Business Partner. In 2019, I joined Citibank went back to Digital Learning and Leadership Development.
I have always used coaching in my roles in HR and working with clients but, in 2020, was delighted to complete my Diploma with the Academy of Executive Coaching. I have experienced the benefits of coaching in my career and in the careers of those I have been working with. What is particularly fascinating about coaching, for me, is how change can happen through what seems to be a simple conversation that allows time to think and reflect.
I am interested in coaching in times of change and challenge – starting out in a career, those returning to work after childcare leave and illness - as a cancer survivor, that is an area of particular interest.

I have worked with Fiona multiple times over the last few years, first when I wanted help negotiating a share in the company I had been at for 7+ years; for the second when I was at a crossroads with my career and wasn’t sure what to do next or which direction to try and for a third time when I was applying for new jobs. I find Fi an incredibly calm, empowering and positive presence, regardless of what scenario I bring to her. She always helps me to find new and different perspectives on situations. She is a brilliant listener, and is also very firm when I am being too hard on myself, and makes me reframe what I’m saying so that I am being kinder to myself. She has helped me find the confidence in myself to push forwards at multiple points in my career. I cannot recommend her enough, and I am constantly recommending her to people I know!
