Leadership and the development of future and existing leaders are priorities for any organisation. But enduring myths about what makes for good leadership, combined with a lot of poor practice in leadership development, leave the space muddied and full of myths and misunderstandings.

The experienced and accredited workplace psychologists at WorkLifePsych have launched a campaign to improve the quality of leadership development bust the myths that confuse the leadership conversation. We call it ‘Sustainable Leadership’.

In this fourth webinar in the series, hosts Dr. Richard MacKinnon and Ross McIntosh will address the importance of self-care when it comes to leaders’ wellbeing, performance and impact on those they lead. They’ll share:

  • What self-care is and what it’s definitely not!
  • How not all coping is equally effective
  • How to build an effective and sustainable self-care routine
  • The role of flexibility and creativity in self-care for leaders
