The course is currently taking place via Zoom beginning with a 1-hour induction meeting on Monday 2nd December 2024 at 10 am. See below for all workshop dates and please don’t worry if you can’t make all of them as alternative arrangements can be made.

The ILM Level 7 Supervision of Coaches qualification will enable you to expand your CV and credentials as a coach supervisor and begin the journey of future accreditation with a professional body if that is also important to you. This qualification is recognised by both the AC and EMCC for individual supervision accreditation and it will also enable you to become a listed supervisor on the Trusted Coach Directory!

 

Course dates 

  • Tuesday 10th December 2 pm for an hour – induction meeting #2
  • Thursday 19th December supervision workshop 1 – 9.30 am for 2 hours – core models and theories
  • Monday 6th January Supervision workshop 2 – 2 pm for 2 hours – contracting and intro to the 7 eyed model
  • Thursday 9th January – eye 1 practice – 10 am for an hour
  • Tuesday 14th January – eye 2 practice – 3 pm for an hour
  • Thursday 16th January – eye 3 practice -10 am for an hour
  • Monday 20th January – eye 4 practice – 1 pm for an hour
  • Thursday 23rd January – eye 5 practice – 1pm for an hour
  • Tuesday 28th January – eye 6 practice – 10 am for an hour
  • Thursday 30th January – eye 7 practice – 10 am for an hour
  • From February onwards regular workshops and tutor time will be arranged with you, plus unlimited access to our back catalog or recorded workshops for coaching and supervision skills development, models and approaches

Who is the training for?

There is an application process for this course to ensure you are an experienced coach. This includes demonstrating the following minimum  requirements:

  • at least 200 hours of coaching experience
  • CPD record for two years, showing at least 20 hours of coach CPD per year
  • level 7 coaching qualification or EMCC senior practitioner accreditation, AC professional coach accreditation or similar. If you cannot provide this, further references will be  required.
  • log of your supervision hours for your coaching practice.

What is involved?

  • One written academic assignment and a supervision portfolio log (three units of study in total)
  • 20 hours of supervision practice with a detailed reflective journal
  • Unlimited tutor support with assignments and your supervision hours
  • Webinars and tutorials arranged at mutually convenient times and dates
  • A back catalog of over 400 hours of recorded content to explore – CPD for your coaching and supervision practice
  • Access to a huge library of reading and research materials
  • 1 year deadline for completion

Extra costs – you are required to have 4 hours of one to one supervision of supervision for your qualification and we do not provide this. We want you to experience different supervision styles and approaches with other supervisors. You will need to resource this yourself and we can help you with recommendations if required. It may be possible to find free supervision (although this isn’t guaranteed) and we can advise you further.
