We are living in a time of turbulence and transformation, where we face a storm of challenges, from the global pandemic to the climate emergency, from the rising cost of living to the rapid advance of technology. We also need to tackle the deep-rooted inequalities and injustices that affect some people more than others, while keeping up with our work and wellbeing. According to a McKinsey Global Survey, (McKinsey Global Surveys, 2021: A year in review) 87 per cent of executives said that they were experiencing turbulence at a higher rate than they could manage. It’s a lot to handle, especially when we don’t know what the future holds or how to prepare for it.

So how can we stay resilient and thrive in such uncertain and changing times? This workshop will offer some tips and ideas on how to embrace change and uncertainty, and how to take care of ourselves and each other. Of course we need to be flexible, adaptable and open to new possibilities and opportunities, but we also need to look after our own wellness.

Using research conducted by Henley Business School on resilience, this session will look at the key qualities in managing within change, turbulence and uncertainty.
