Leadership and the development of future and existing leaders are priorities for any organisation. But enduring myths about what makes for good leadership, combined with a lot of poor practice in leadership development, leave the space muddied and full of myths and misunderstandings.
The experienced and accredited workplace psychologists at WorkLifePsych have launched a campaign to improve the quality of leadership development bust the myths that confuse the leadership conversation. We call it ‘Sustainable Leadership’.
In this fourth webinar in the series, hosts Dr. Richard MacKinnon and Ross McIntosh will address the importance of self-care when it comes to leaders’ wellbeing, performance and impact on those they lead. They’ll share:
The founder of WorkLifePsych, Richard is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Chartered Coaching Psychologist. He’s also a Chartered Scientist and a Fellow of the Centre for Evidence-based Management. Richard has over twenty years experience as a practitioner, coach and leadership development specialist. He’s also the host of the popular podcast about workplace psychology ‘My Pocket Psych‘.
Ross is an organisational psychologist and coach, and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD). With over 25 years of experience coaching senior leaders, he brings a wealth of expertise in leadership development and team collaboration.
