‘Management does not keep promises.’ ‘Trust is so low.’ ‘There’s no team here.’ These laments are heard all too frequently. Fractures, tensions and misalignments in the workplace are becoming the norm. The complexity of markets, and the continued ever-greater pressure for competitiveness, all within the context of climate change, post-Brexit existence and war, are making businesses vulnerable.

Global studies across 43 countries found:
• 34% of boards and C-Suites cannot reach an agreement on mission, purpose and strategy
• over 67% of leaders are too inhibited to raise the critical issues that, if they remain unaddressed, cripple the organisation

Leaders are still perplexed about how to address these circumstances effectively. Critical is the intellectual capacity to understand and clearly define the challenges being faced. Equally necessary is the sensitivity to continually engage, so that a satisfactory alignment of interests can be realised.

This session will focus on exploring the leadership capabilities necessary to work through these misalignments and will offer real-life case studies, best practice leadership, the sharing of experiences, and how to integrate the board and the C-Suite to strengthen the organisation to face a sustainable future. Research shows that only 25% of leaders display such capacity. So, what makes that vital difference is given full attention in this masterclass.
