About me
I love coaching and supporting people, particularly with clients who are motivated and engaged in the coaching process and are committed to change, either for themselves or helping others to manage change. I can quickly and intuitively pinpoint the underlying issues being presented encouraging an open, honest, confidential discussion.
Drawing on influences from Transactional Analysis, NLP and psychological techniques, I support clients to:
*understand their internal blocks and barriers,
*make sense of the many challenges and dilemmas they have,
*raise awareness and responsibility,
*move towards a successful and pragmatic outcome.
I bring insight to the coaching sessions by offering helpful leadership and coaching techniques and approaches without instructing clients what to do.
Areas of Coaching Expertise:
• Coaching leaders to build confidence and break through their imposter syndrome
• Developing emotional intelligence and leadership behaviours and mindsets
• Coaching leaders to recognise and avoid ethical dilemmas
• Transition coaching (e.g. moving from operational to strategic roles)
• Transition back to work following a break
• Coaching leaders to work on their personal branding, identity and purpose, limiting beliefs and unhelpful mind-sets
• Developing awareness, responsibility, choices and actions
• Insightful discussions around transactional analysis and insight into tools which can help make sense of toxic working relationships
• Developing healthy working relationships.
Coaching Supervision Approach:
I provide a confidential and supportive space for my supervisees to reflect on their coaching practice, coaching relationships and ethical dilemmas arising from coaching their client’s. Clear Contracting is an essential part of my supervision with my supervisee’s.
I have experience of supervising newly qualified and highly experienced coaches helping them to reflect on and improve their coaching practice in a psychologically safe space. This includes recognising the additional challenges and nuances of being an internal coach.
Areas of Supervision Expertise:
• Being the ‘guardian of good practice’ and role model
• Building confidence, competence and credibility to enable the coach to work with their clients in challenging and sensitive situations
• Providing a reflective, confidential and psychologically space for learning and support
• Sharing tools, techniques, theory and research from the supervisor’s experience
• Deepening the supervisee's awareness of their own coaching presence
• Highlighting and encouraging the supervisee to build their own ‘internal supervisor’.
