About me
I have been coaching leaders for 20 years and in 2015 gained a qualification in Coaching Supervision.

Do these challenges sound familiar? You want to:
* Build confidence and competence in your senior role;
* Understand this feeling of Imposter syndrome and how to improve;
* Transition smoothly from operational to strategic leadership;
* Reflect on and understand how you can improve your Personal Impact and Professional Development;
* Manage yourself and your team going through organisational change
* Develop an understanding of emotional intelligence.

These are just some of the reasons why leaders come to me for coaching.

I can quickly and intuitively pinpoint the underlying issues being presented encouraging an open, honest, confidential discussion.

I bring insight to the coaching sessions by sharing helpful leadership and coaching techniques and approaches intuitively and appropriately.

Coaching with me is always supportive and can be challenging with the positive intent to help you understand and make sense of:
* Your internal and external blocks and barriers,
* The many challenges and dilemmas you have as a senior leader,
* How to move towards successful goals and pragmatic outcomes.

A 30 minute complementary chemistry call will help us decide if we are the right match.

When I'm not coaching leaders, I work with organisations to help them develop an internal coaching capability, accredited with CMI.

I am a published author 'Coaching People through Organizational Change', published with Kogan Page.

** Building a Coaching Capability - Structured training and consultancy.

This includes developing and training:
*In-House Coaches (accredited through CMI)
*Coaching skills for managers and senior leaders

Guidance on how to sustain coaching capability by introducing:
**Action Learning Sets
**Coaching Masterclasses
**In-House coaching forums and partnerships
**Coach Supervision for in-house coaches.

*My Coaching Supervision Approach:
I provide a confidential and supportive space for my supervisees to reflect on their coaching practice, coaching relationships and ethical dilemmas arising from coaching their client’s. Clear Contracting is an essential part of my supervision with my supervisee’s.

Areas of Supervision Expertise:
• Being the ‘guardian of good practice’ and role model
• Building confidence, competence and credibility to enable the coach to work with their clients in challenging and sensitive situations
• Providing a reflective, confidential and psychologically space for learning and support
• Sharing tools, techniques, theory and research from the supervisor’s experience
• Deepening the supervisee's awareness of their own coaching presence
• Highlighting and encouraging the supervisee to build their own ‘internal supervisor’.

Coaching with Sue has enabled me to enhance my current skill sets and develop new ones to improve my ability as an Executive Head. We have met regularly to discuss contemporary issues that I face and have worked together to enhance my understanding of situations from various viewpoints and adopt techniques that ensure I deliver the best outcomes for the organisation and grow as a professional. Sue is not afraid to challenge my perspective and to move the conversation into self-reflection and analysis which has led me to value myself more and have greater confidence. The support Sue gives also extends to suggested wider reading so that understanding is deepened beyond the session. The mix of face to face and online sessions has worked really well for me and Sue conducts the sessions as a safe confidential space where you take the lead about what is important to you. I would really recommend undertaking coaching sessions with Sue as her honesty, integrity and compassion underpins all communication and the outcome enables you to feel a stronger professional and a stronger more adaptable and reflective person. Sam, Assistant Director.
