About me
Leadership Coach - Bristol
With a background in educational Leadership and a master’s in Leadership, I am an educator at heart and understand how people learn and evolve.
In 2013, I joined Professor Steve Peters’ consultancy specialising in psychological coaching. I supported individuals and teams to embed the principles of ‘The Chimp Paradox’, which contributed to the success of Team GB.
In 2017, I wanted to bring a wider influence to my work and started Amara Coaching & Training.
Who I work with:
I work with CEOs, MDs and their Leadership Teams to advance their Leadership Skills and create strong team alignment.
Research has proved that when team members have a strong identification to their team, their performance will increase by 50%.
I’ve worked with fantastic medium to large companies, including: Google, TikTok, Twitter, Defected Records, Hey Honey, Caval, SingKing, BJSS, SCC and Hipp.

What I do and why:
My ambition is to evolve Leaders and Teams fit for the future.
The World Economic Forum cited that Emotional Intelligence (EQ) was found to be the strongest predictor of performance and that 90% of top performers are high in emotional intelligence.
This means that Leaders are more likely to lead high performance teams if they have high EQ.
Leaders and their teams with low EQ are often misaligned and not getting the benefit from working together to drive business results. Team misalignment is costly.
My work creates team alignment through establishing a clear team identity. The team’s unique identity then becomes embedded in the team's behaviours, systems and processes.
