Making the most of change and thriving through transition

You’re usually fine with change, now something’s come along and this time it’s different.

That’s where I come in - transition coaching helps you find your way more quickly, to make sense of change, make the most of it, and thrive.

Let go of what’s not serving you now to make room for what does:

• identify where you are now and where you need to be
• decide what you need to get there
• act and keep on track

“I noticed that after every session I was motivated to take actions. My thoughts and feelings are now generating momentum to act.”

Transition and Change

In our rush to make changes, we tend to forget about transition, the effect change can have on us, and then the change isn’t successful.

If it’s a change we’ve chosen, it can come as quite a surprise to feel a bit stuck or uncertain.

“The insights I've gained have been transformative. They've helped me navigate a particularly impactful period as a leader.”

If we're experiencing change we haven’t chosen, it’s no wonder we might feel at a loss.

“I felt lost when I lost my job and lost my sense of who I am too. I'm on the right track to help me. My old self is coming back.”

Career and organisational transitions

Some people work with me because they’ve been promoted to a more senior role and they’re finding it’s a whole new ball game. They want to boost their skills to make the most of the opportunity for themselves and those who rely on them.

“I went to Polly seeking more clarity, to gain insight and more self-awareness. The quality of Polly’s questions made the biggest impact on the way I was processing my thoughts and coming up with new solutions…and now I reflect in more depth.”

Others work with me because their company is changing or making changes. They’re leading or experiencing organisational changes they need to embrace and champion - and help others make sense of and embed the changes.

“Things began to fall into place, largely, I think, because Polly is so tuned in to the needs and inspiration of the moment.”

And others work with me because they want a more senior role in their current company, and they’re being overlooked – or they want to make sure their skills are top notch to help them land a better role elsewhere.

“Polly helped me move forwards in my career, helped me grow. Her patience and willingness to help have made me motivated to do the best job I can, in any role."

You’ll have your own reasons for wanting to work with me and I look forward to learning what they are. If I sound like a good fit for you then let's find out.

Polly is an excellent coach and mentor. She has a breadth of experience in the corporate sector as a leader which she draws upon to offer understanding and perspective to those she works with. As a coaching client, Polly has always made me feel understood and supported. Her capacity for caring and kindness creates a nurturing and safe space in which to explore difficult and challenging personal and professional issues. The insights I have gained from working with Polly have been transformative and have helped me navigate through a particularly impactful development period as a leader. I am grateful for her as a coach and would highly recommend her. Centre Manager, Triyoga, UK Health and Leisure

It was a real pleasure working with Polly. She is a good listener as well as a kind person, and I felt comfortable opening up to her and discussing my concerns with her. Polly was also empathetic and supportive. She would always respect my opinion and would offer her insight if needed. Polly asked me relevant questions that would broaden my thinking and help me to develop my own thoughts and ideas. She also enabled me to look at my situation from a different perspective and achieve things I would not have achieved on my own. If you are looking for a good coach who is also an understanding and caring person, Polly is definitely the one to start working with. HR Business Partner, Arrow Global, Financial Services

Working with Polly has been a great blessing to me. She has been remarkably supportive, gentle and compassionate yet skillfully adept at helping me focus on what is really important to me, what stands in my way and what next steps I want and need to take to accomplish my goals. She is a great listener. I really feel heard, and that has been key to my trusting the coaching process. And she has fantastic, creative ideas that I've found eye-opening, simple and practical. I've been surprised to find myself, after every session, muttering, It's amazing to me, looking back at the process, how someone could help me cut through the brambles to be able to visualize some key goals. It may be trite, but true: that just taking one step--in this case, beginning the coaching process--seems to open doors. Things began to fall into place, largely, I think, because Polly is so tuned in to the needs and inspiration of the moment. I recommend her if you are looking for great listener, you will be in great hands if you decide to work with her. Financial Controller, Kaleidoscope Group, Global D&I Management Consultancy
