Tanya mainly works with senior business leaders either reporting into Board members or Board members themselves. The clients that she often works with include those who are looking to build more trusting relationships across the business, those who are moving into a new senior role and want to be supported and stretched as leaders during that transition and some very driven leaders who can need to develop more of a coaching style rather than micro-managing.
Diverse Experience Tanya's approach as a coach draws on her diverse experience, her skills around helping leaders to gain greater self-awareness and empathy and understand what aspect of leadership they may need to strengthen. What her clients value is that she is able to draw on her knowledge across many areas, that enables her to provide understandable frameworks at the appropriate moments. She builds trusting and authentic relationships with her clients which allows the coaching conversations to be honest and real.
Business Psychologist Experience Prior to becoming a Leadership coach in 2001, Tanya began her career as a business psychologist before joining a few corporate organisations where she went on to lead a large department, sit on a European Leadership team and be part of a large migration project. This backdrop as well as over 17 years of Executive Coaching, helps her to quickly appreciate the heart of the issues that her clients want to focus on and are often grappling with.
Tanya has worked with clients across many industries including Retail, IT, Healthcare, Financial Services, Marketing, Media and Leisure. And as stated above mainly works with senior leaders, Board members and CEOs but is happy to work with all leaders.
Her style is warm and supportive but she always stretches and challenges her client's thinking and encourages them to widen the way that they think, feel and behave in their leadership roles. Her goal is always around her clients achieving sustainable progress towards their goals.

She is very good at helping to troubleshoot solutions to particular problems (e.g. dealing with difficult colleagues/team members) and has a practical working style which means not only are her coaching sessions useful in and of themselves, it’s easy to take away tips and approaches to implement outside of the sessions.
