About me
Executive Coach London
I’ve been coaching individuals, teams and groups for over 20 years in the UK and across many parts of the world and am still passionate about the work and the amazing people with whom I work. Unsurprisingly therefore, I’m also very involved in training and supervising coaches and team coaches, caring deeply about the quality and impact of this work. I have been supervising coaches and team coaches for the past 10 years.
I’ve worked across many sectors including automotive, financial services and banking, IT, media and creative, pharmaceutical, industrial, oil and gas, education, public sector and voluntary organisations.
I see my individual coaching and supervision clients in my consulting room in North London or at their offices if more convenient.
Leadership development programmes
Over this period, I have also designed, delivered and led large scale leadership development programmes and multiple-coach coaching programmes and have designed and delivered large group experiential events .
Over time, I’ve noticed the pressures and demands placed on leaders and teams increase exponentially, requiring a significant shift in coaching approach and informing over the years my development and teaching of Somatic Cognitive Coaching and its leadership application; embodied leadership.
This, in essence, reconnects people (and teams) with their own broader embodied experience, enhancing their clarity of thinking, their ability to respond effectively to challenges (rather than react impulsively), their health and resilience, their impact on others and the organisation, their close relationships and their strategic and systemic thinking ability.
Typical client applications of this include:
• Transitioning from specialist manager to leader
• Developing leadership presence, impact and influence, face to face and across organisations
• Developing effective organisational matrix and internal/external collaborative capability
• Managing integration and significant personal/organisational transitions
• Enhancing Strategic and systemic thinking
• Developing and Leading teams including diverse, remote and cross cultural teams
I’ve been described by clients as a good listener and thought provoking in response, curious, challenging and supportive, creative, fun and outcome oriented.
My approach to coaching marries a focus on personal and/or organisational goals/purpose with a deeply humanistic and holistic attention to wellbeing and relationship.
I am regularly invited to speak at conferences or run workshops here and around the world on subjects such as embodied leadership, enhancing collaboration and collaborative leadership, systemic leadership and Somatic Cognitive coaching.
A previous career in Advertising informs a strong business and creative awareness (where necessary), but I also draw on a diverse range of other models and approaches in my work, including gestalt and somatic psychology, NLP, Transactional Analysis and complexity and systems theories.

Nick has been my coach for half a year by now. I love working with him. Nick is such a good listener. He is sensitive and discreet. He never misses a half-tone in my stories. His questions and other interventions are always to the point and increase my self-awareness.
I love the way Nick interferes. He stops me very gently asking if this is ok and then he just reflects something back or asks a „million-dollar question“. There has not been a session where I would not have discovered something new about myself - the way I feel or the words I use…
Nick is really good in using metaphores, he is also skillful with wording things. Some examples of meaningful things I’ve taken with me from our sessions: energy volume control, high energy as a pain killer, holding space, „me changing myself“ instead of „I have changed“, feeling the feelings helps something else to emerge, letting go of the things not useful any more …
I trust Nick and I feel very comfortable telling him my very personal things. He seems to sense the territories and borders very well. He has helped me to understand my psycho-somatic dance. As a result of our cooperation I am more present in my life, I’m here and now and I enjoy what I do more. I am more relaxed, happy and I love myself more. And I do not want to stop the journey…
