About me
Hello. I’m Duncan. I’m an executive coach working with senior leaders to unlock their potential, enhance leadership impact, and drive meaningful organisational change. I am one of just a handful of accredited coaches in the UK who are also qualified therapists. My coaching is deep, focussed and results-oriented, helping clients identify and make the changes that will have the greatest impact on them, their teams, and their organisations. I have a particular interest in the relationship between psychological health and high-performance in business, and I create a non-judgemental, highly attuned environment that encourages self-reflection, resilience, and sustainable growth.
Prior to focusing on coaching, I was a founder and leader in business, education, and the social impact sector. I was appointed by Sir James Dyson in 2017 as the founding CEO of The Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology, a pioneering university at the heart of industry. Before that I founded a leadership development company delivering corporate and educational programmes in the UK, US and Asia. I began my commercial career at Procter & Gamble. Across these roles, I have delivered thousands of hours of one-to-one coaching and training, supporting leaders to build their influence, strengthen working relationships, and achieve high-impact outcomes.
I am trained by the top coach training schools in the world, the Co-Active Training Institute and the International Coach Academy, and Europe’s leading integrative psychotherapy school,The Minster Centre. I am accredited by the International Coaching Federation and am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Duncan is a quite outstanding coach: he managed to get right to the heart of my challenges, and even more impressively identified concrete actions and practices that could help, all while treating me with empathy and respect. He is VERY good at this, and working with him was a very positive and helpful experience, that has had measurable effects on both my productivity and well-being. Thank you!

I really valued Duncan's input as my coach. We quickly established a safe space to explore and unpick thoughts and feelings that were blocking my progression. Duncan was gently challenging and helped me notice and identify some big feelings. Over the course of 6 sessions we worked through a plan that allowed me to develop and test some new collaborative models of practice, drawing on some of the theories I was studying on the course. We spent time reflecting on managing up and managing down and this has encouraged me to be bolder and try new styles of working, ultimately increasing my confidence as a senior manager, thank you Duncan.
