How we Are as Coaches, in our World’s Troubled Times

The context for this webinar is what many are calling the meta-crisis in our world; a time of social, economic, ecological, political, technological, systemic and spiritual challenges.

It is easy to feel overwhelmed, fearful and powerless, in the face of these challenges.  We can also feel conflicted about the work we are engaged in.  Our clients can also then present with their overwhelm, and with dilemmas and issues which have no ‘easy answers’.

The host Wendy has been supporting coachees and supervisees with these challenges for several years.  In order to be able to help, she had to go on her own learning journey.

• She will share her learning and ideas, in a specially created safe, respectful and non-judgemental environment via this webinar.
• There will be time for some quiet, inner reflection, group discussion and breakout conversations, as well as some short meditations and maybe even a little poetry!
• You need only share what you feel comfortable sharing.

One of Wendy’s favourite learnings relates to how we see ourselves in this world.  Our paradigm or worldview.  This is so influenced by our upbringing, our schooling, our organisational life and our larger society.  When we can see ourselves and the world through a different lens, new possibilities suddenly open up.  These can give us hope.
