What makes agile transformations successful?

09/05/2019
Created by Laura Re Turner

Despite growing support for agile methods of developing products, organisations’ efforts to change their culture to ‘be agile’ are mostly unsuccessful. The values and principles needed to transform culture, described in the Manifesto for Agile Software Development, require behaviour change at the team level. This Executive Summary describes the findings of research that formed part of the dissertation ‘Succeeding with Agile: What Makes Agile Transformations Successful?’ for the award of Master of Science in Coaching and Behavioural Change, Henley Business School, University of Reading, August 2018.
