About this Event:
Mindfulness can be an invaluable tool on the journey of healing and self-development. What is not as widely known is that it can also cause harm to traumatised or dysregulated individuals. In this training, which is based on the work of leading expert David Treleaven, we will explore why this is and look at practical tools that can help us guide our clients in safe, trauma-sensitive ways.
The training will introduce some helpful key theoretical frameworks around trauma and nervous system dysregulation, such as the window of tolerance. It will also include trauma-sensitive practices and adaptations that you can begin to incorporate in your coaching practice.
