About this AC Skills Development Event:
Many coaches already ‘walk and talk’ with their clients but coaching outdoors is so much more than that. After a brief theoretical explanation of why working in alliance with nature can be so impactful, you will be equipped with some practical tools for holding your clients safely in an open space and inviting nature in – you will then be invited to practise by co-coaching on Brighton beach!
All coaches with a curiosity for bringing nature into their practice are warmly welcomed, whether already working outdoors or not.
Attendance qualifies for CPD and a certificate will be emailed to you post-event.
In this Event you will:
· Understand why nature is such a powerful gift for coaches through an introduction to ecotherapy theory
· Assess when/if it is appropriate to take a client outdoors
· Use contracting to create psychological safety outdoors
· Invite nature in to deepen somatic awareness and inquiry – both in yourself and your clients
