Join us for a research-led exploration with Nancy Maher regarding coaching to drive gender diversity in leadership in the workplace. In 2022, Grant Thornton reported women represented 32% of c-suite and director roles globally. Additionally, according to LeanIn.Org 2022 Women in the Workplace study, 1 in 4 C-suite executives is a woman, yet 1 in 20 is a woman of colour.

Whether you are coaching to drive gender diversity or not, all coaches are welcome to this session. The session will be lightly interactive, with an opportunity to hear about Nancy’s research and an invitation to explore our reflections on how the coaching profession and we as coaches can all play a part in creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.

Although this is a light introduction in a group setting, working with themes of diversity, equity and inclusion can surface discomfort and unexpected emotions as reflections on inequity and privilege surface. You, as a participant, are asked to set your boundaries – engaging where you feel able and supported to, with cameras on / off.

You will have the opportunity to join a break-out group, where cameras-on are encouraged, to discuss and share your approaches to growing a deeper awareness of your blind spots. We will share a list of further resources towards the end of the session, with an opportunity for some to share reflections and emerging curiosity about the topic.
