31st July 2019 – 1st August 2019
9.30am – 5pm both days
The relationships we have with our clients are to me precious. We are trusted with their pain, joy, angst, successes, shame, vulnerability, growth and can support and allow them to move forward. As I’ve been working more with Mental Health First Aid England, and as a Mental Health Crisis Counsellor I have recognised how valuable it is for us as coaches to be well educated about mental health.
Sadly it’s possible to do a very brief training with little real time assessment and call yourself a qualified health and well being coach. This troubles me as mental health is complex and ranges from ill health through to thriving. As a result of conversations I have had with coaches both in and out of supervision, I have incorporated the MHFA first aider programme into an education and implementation programme for coaches.
Join me, Anne Archer, MSc Psychology of Wellbeing, Coach (PCC), Coach Supervisor and Educator, Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Mental Health Crisis Counsellor and Mental Health Advocate, to build your knowledge and skill set.
