About me

Performance Coach - London

When was the last time you saw something you wanted and you just went for it? When I see women that I’ve worked with get exactly what they want, I feel such joy. I know how challenging their path was and I can see the difference between the belief they had in themselves when they met me and the self-belief they have now. I learned a long time ago that such a powerful change doesn’t happen instantly.

My mum was not her depression and she was not her suicide. She was a beautifully complicated human who told herself the wrong story. She told herself she was not worthy of the things she wanted in life. Through both her struggles and successes, I noticed that all of the obstacles in her way seemed to boil down to one thing, a lack of self-belief. When her time came, I was only 21 but I promised myself I wouldn’t let it define me. I was already creating a different story.

My story is now one of self-belief and confidence. It wasn’t an easy place to get to. It took a lot of time and a lot of work. I didn’t fly to get here, I used the support of others to help me follow the wise words on a jug that my mum gave me when I was in my early teens: “If you can’t fly, climb”.

Now it’s your turn. I believe in your greatness. If you don’t, let’s talk.

I’m not here to fix you, I’m not a magic pill or an elixir for life, I’m your climbing partner. Believing in yourself takes work and it is much easier to get there when you share. I will walk with you, I will be kind but I will not let you hide.

I often work with professional women aged between 30 and 50 who are struggling with low self-belief and confidence. The following quote is typical of the feedback I receive from these women:

'Working with you has been fantastic - yesterday was particularly powerful. As you know I came into you feeling a total mess and I actually feel like a different person today. I'm breathing properly for a start!

You're very good at what you do, Lucinda, and I hope that you know that. I feel incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with you. Thank you.'

There are a few ways that you can find out more about how we can work together.

Call me or email me directly to set up an initial chat. There is no cost and zero pressure to continue climbing together. We’ll work out if you need a coach and if I’m the right one for you.

I started working with Lucinda last year when I wanted to make a change in my life and career. Lucinda provided a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate approach which allowed me to address my limiting beliefs and become more insightful. I have many strategies in my toolbox now and a clearer understanding of who I am and what motivates me. I have a small business, something I never thought possible and I feel incredibly optimistic about what the future holds. If you want to make a change in your life or feel stuck, Lucinda is the coach for you.  - WF

Lucinda is an amazing, insightful, kind and considered coach. The warmth and strength that resonates from her really motivated me to do the best I could. I benefited hugely, both professionally and personally from my coaching sessions with Lucinda. I genuinely couldn't recommend her highly enough. One of the most compassionate coaches in the field, I'm sure.

Lucinda is a kind and caring coach, who has helped me to navigate my way through some complex situations and emotions. She has a unique style that gently and compassionately enables me to leave a session armed with greater knowledge about myself and how to actively progress the topics we discuss. - RG

I would recommend Lucinda to anyone who is finding work life tricky and is struggling with a lack of self-confidence. I had a series of coaching sessions with Lucinda during the end of 2019, beginning 2020, finishing (little did we know), just before the UK lockdown, I was fortunate to be able to meet Lucinda face-to-face. Lucinda was recommended as someone who would be able to help me start to get unstuck with some of the thinking that was holding me back in my new role. Lucinda helped me start to put words to some of the issues that were holding me back, start to switch my thinking, and come up with some strategies for living with my inner critic. I found Lucinda's style of coaching really suited where I was at the time. The coaching sessions I had with Lucinda were a good foundation for getting through the last six months of lockdown, where work has been turned upside down. I am less controlled by my inner critic and feel I am more equipped to cope with the uncertainty we are facing. I have also started making some changes that may lead me on a different career path, thanks to the work I did with Lucinda. - JG, Head of Business Development

Working with Lucinda has been hugely beneficial. Our work has help me realise that I have much more control and power to address issues that had held me back. Lucinda was great at creating an environment that allowed me to find my own solutions. I would leave each session feeling empowered and much more positive. KR

Lucinda really helped me with working through an issue to reach for a solution. That doesn’t always look the way you thought it would! I learnt to trust myself more and listen to my voice and needs to a greater extent, hold myself to account better and also to celebrate when I do move toward my goal. A.D.
