About me

Leadership Coach - Leeds

I am a leadership coach, trainer and mentor with over 15 years of senior leadership experience. I have offices in Leeds, UK, but I work across the country and also internationally.

As an individual you may feel over-stretched or overwhelmed. You may be finding it difficult to build your team, or have some difficult team members to deal with. Leadership often means having difficult conversations and holding people to account, both of which can be challenging. Retaining staff may be a priority for you as you seek to develop engagement and motivation. You may not have had formal leadership training, or if you have, you may have found it hard to implement it within your context. Alternatively, you may be finding promotion blocked and are looking to enhance your profile.

Developing high performing team leaders

As an organisation you know that developing high performing team leaders of high performing teams is vital for your competitive advantage, recruitment, retention, results and reputation. You also know that this may be easy in principle, but is difficult to achieve. I can visit your organisation to discuss your leadership development needs and how a training coaching model will embed this and bring about a high return on your investment. Alternatively I also offer 1-2-1 coaching sessions, either at my city centre Leeds office, or by phone.

Solution focus

I use a variety of coaching methodologies with a solution focus approach. I also use the challenging coaching FACTS model of Feedback, Accountability, Courageous Goals, Tension and System Thinking, which is especially suited for leaders, and also for leaders looking to develop their own coaching leadership style. It is important to me that we establish a good coaching relationship with quality contracting, and utilise a high support, high challenge approach.

Using a range of current leadership thinking and research, I add value to leaders through coaching, mentoring and training. This includes work by Stephen Convey, Patrick Lencioni, Simon Sinek, John Blakey, Jim Collins, and Daniel Kahneman.
