Leadership Coach - South-East and London

I bring over 25 years of commercial experience to my executive and team coaching, having worked at Director level at Virgin Atlantic, Legal and General and PartyGaming. I also held a NED role at Plane Handling. With extensive experience of directing global teams in the development and implementation of world-class products and services, leading change and turning strategy into operational results, I am just as passionate about helping others to achieve success as I was when I was leading global teams.

My coaching philosophy is grounded in leadership, team development and organisational change theories. Having made a number of transitions myself and in my experience as a coach, I have gained a good understanding of the skills and values required when transitioning through leadership levels and the challenges executes face when moving into more senior roles or a different environment. I help clients to gain more self-awareness and to understand the impact they have on others. I prefer to practice transpersonal coaching as it helps clients to undergo personal change and I love that the transpersonal perspective recognises the vast untapped resource in the wealth of human experience and potential. Therefore, I use a number of approaches that help clients to change their relationship with whatever they are facing.

Clients typically work with me when leading change, developing high performing teams, want to build confidence or resilience, preparing for or transitioning to a more senior role and developing the skills required to maximise their leadership potential. I like to take a positive approach with clients in developing motivating goals, focusing on what works and leveraging strengths.

I hold a Post-Graduate Diploma in Coaching and Development, a European Mentoring and Coaching Council Senior Practitioner Accreditation (EIA), and an Insights Psychometric profiling license. I studied the Psychology of Leadership, Change and Coaching with the CIPD; Strategic Planning at Cranfield and the role of the Director with the Institute of Directors. I am an EMCC member and am committed to on-going personal growth with access to personal coaching and supervision.

I am currently training to become an accredited team coach with the EMCC.

When I'm not coaching or facilitating I like to relax with my family, (I have two grandchildren), or a good novel. I keep fit and healthy by practicing yoga, mindfulness and doing step aerobics, pilates or swimming.
