Companies come to me to support their people to grow through big changes, rather than being knocked for six. They also call on me to coach great leaders to create a ripple effect in the organisation’s engagement and productivity. I coach passionate people to live their best story in times of change and in times of stability.
People come to me to make high impact transitions from one company to another, from one role to another, and in stepping up to more senior leadership levels – or any other change they are making. They figure out what to leave behind and what to take with them; how to work through uncertainty; and how to make a great new beginning. They want to get clearer about their way forward, grow through the changes, manage their stress levels, enhance their own and others’ performance, and achieve their potential.

Contracting for Results

My approach to coaching is simple, non-directive, client-centred, encouraging clients to work and think in an adult way with themselves and towards others. I help people to look at things from different perspectives and explore options creatively. I contract for results with my clients and their organisation, and hold my clients accountable for their actions, pinning them down and following up. Couple that with my use of intuition to say what I see, and you get a transformational blend. Individuals say that I help them to think deeply for themselves; bring greater degrees of balance and purpose to their work and life; and provide a safe environment, in which to make sometimes uncomfortable changes happen. Leadership Programmes

I previously worked in learning and development roles in NatWest and Accenture; and lead the strategy for the leaders of all levels programme at Accenture. I won awards from Brandon Hall, and the Management Innovation Xchange for my ground-breaking behaviour change programmes, such as the Individualised Leadership Programme, the 30 Day Challenge, and Employee Experience, about which I have presented at conferences. I am a prolific blogger, have written magazine articles on action learning, coaching supervision and mentor coaching, and a book called Being a Sunbeam; and have spoken at the ICF UK Conference. I have 18 years of coaching experience; and was instrumental in setting up and nurturing the Coaching Network, a group of 650+ people who wanted to build their coaching skills for the benefit of the business.

Clare is a natural innovator and inspiration to those she works with. In Accenture, she created the impact and reach that social networks dream of, long before social networks had gone viral. She created an offering called the 30 Day Challenge which a colleague had proposed and she turned it into an industrial scale development approach, that was tapped into (voluntarily) by thousands of people across continents. The impact of this was putting developing people at the heart of our business, and upskilling Line Managers globally whether they were transitioning into a new role, or just wanting to be better at inspiring and managing our people.
