Executive Coach - Oxford & London
My background: I am an EMCC Accredited Executive Coach, with eleven years of coaching experience (five years of which is post-accreditation). My coaching is underpinned by 30 years of corporate and self-employment experience in FMCG manufacturing, financial services, and professional services.
Who I coach: Those experienced in the world of work, ranging from senior executives and operational managers, to individuals in their private capacity, regardless of seniority
Why clients come to me : I support my clients to deal better with change, in whatever form it comes. I don’t know what brings you to this coaching directory, but I believe that ‘change’ is likely to be central to your reasons. You’ll be experiencing big change, perhaps at work, or elsewhere. I too have had my experience of change – continually – from the moment I arrived in the UK with my family from Southern Africa in 1998. In some areas I thrived, in others I struggled, mainly in adapting to a similar, but new culture. Yet, I embraced the opportunity to work in the larger EMEA world, confident that my 17 years’ grounding in a blue-chip firm, Unilever, gave me a strong foundation for success. My distinctive heritage (Dutch and Zimbabwean and with British ancestry) has forced me to adapt quickly. Hence, I am able to approach coaching assignments with true empathy – I am better able to appreciate whatever is changing in your world, as I have also had to adapt. This capacity underpins my coaching practice, along with my training as a coach, and my work experience.
Where I coach: Via Zoom, MS Teams, as well as in client premises, or convenient venues in London, the South East or Midlands.

Dirk's coaching is a unique brand of strategic and creative approaches, and his style is warm, calm, genuine and authentic. He brings varied experience and wisdom to his coaching, and being coached by Dirk is both challenging and supportive. His coaching approach is intuitive, and he uses new and creative ideas to enhance his coaching. J.E.
Dirk is an outstanding executive coach. I worked with him some years ago on a management development programme for senior leaders and he was very effective in his role as a facilitator and coach, with excellent feedback. I know that since then, he has gained much more executive coaching experience and so is knowledge and skills will have been extended and enhanced by this. Dirk is kind, a hard-working professional and has outstanding interpersonal skills. I warmly recommend him to you. Richard T.
