About me
I work with leaders and managers – both in senior roles and those newer to leadership, including founders and entrepreneurs. I love helping people in these roles to enjoy a flourishing professional life, and to have the biggest impact on the lives of others. Typical challenges I can support you with include: stress from heavy workloads and competing priorities; complex strategic decisions; demanding relationships and team dynamics; and lack of leadership experience/confidence.
How I can help you
My clients report significant improvements through our work together:
• Wellbeing: Greater calm, resilience and energy
• Self-management: Time management & prioritisation leading to more focused outputs
• Clearer thinking: Enhanced strategic planning and decision making
• Better relationships: Improved communication, influencing and delegation skills
• Self-confidence: Ability to move smoothly into more senior leadership roles
My coaching approach
I never tell anyone what to do or try to fix them. Instead, I create a unique space – by giving you my wholehearted attention – where you can fully appreciate your true strengths, capacities and values. Through deep listening and intelligent questioning, I help you access your natural clarity, energy and resolve to make the changes, choices and decisions that maximise your professional development and performance.
I don’t use off-the-shelf leadership models as they often get in the way of the most valuable personal insights and discoveries. The only ‘model’ I do use is the one you bring: how you see and understand yourself, your work and the world around you. My clients tell me that I combine sensitive understanding with rigorous challenge and supportive championing. I also use lots of humour and playfulness to lighten things up, as professional development work can easily become way too heavy and dry. I’ve been told many times how this can really help cut through to the insights and determination people most need to progress in their lives and work.
As a highly experienced mindfulness trainer and author of ‘The ABC Guide to Mindfulness’ I also offer to use neuroscience-based exercises and approaches that can help you get the most from your mind and body’s powerful resources.
My background
Before working as a coach and trainer, I worked in communications and project management roles. I felt called to interpersonal work having been through a long process of personal and professional development as a result of my own earlier struggles to feel good about myself and find meaning and direction in life. As a member of the human race, this is always work in progress!
Outside working life, I love varied creative pursuits: writing, drawing & painting, music, and filmmaking.

Tim is a wonderful coach to work with. His calm, thoughtful nature and extensive knowledge of Mindfulness makes him a highly supportive coach, who also knows how to challenge his clients to get the very best out of themselves. Tim has helped me resolve some complicated dilemmas and create effective strategies which were grounded in my knowledge of my own strength and motivation. HB, Communications Consultant
