I have been working with Eamon for more than 10 years. He has helped me navigate many challenging situations over that time. He is a joy to work with not only being incredibly adept at his craft but also being a genuinely nice guy. His style immediately sets you at ease and sessions fly by in no time. He is fantastic to think out loud with, asks really good probing questions, which really make you think about the topic at hand. Great to work with and highly recommended. Aidan Lynch. GSK

I have known Eamon for over 10 years and while I haven't been coached by him I have worked alongside him on several occasions. In that time I have always found him to be genuine, curious and fun to work with. He always wants the very best for his clients and will work with you to be the very best version of yourself. In my first Team Manager role in the Pharma Industry, I was fortunate enough to have Eamon as an executive Coach for my first year. He was extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and challenging in the right way. He has a gift for getting along with people, reading and understanding situations quickly, and identifying potential pitfalls before they become major issues. He helped me navigate some challenging situations with regard to internal re-structuring and was the catalyst for me to seek real help during a personal crisis shortly after starting my new role. Eamon knows all the theory and more importantly knows how it can be applied appropriately in the real world. I look forward to working with Eamon again to look at how we can apply squad mentality for our broader team. Many thanks Eamon!

In the past, working as CEO of Willen Hospice I was fortunate to have used the resources of Eamon O’Brien. Eamon supported the charity ‘Pro Bono’ for many years in three key forms. Firstly, in providing top level Trustee /Senior team ‘away days’, working with the senior team in group sessions and additionally in the form of 1 to 1 coaching with myself. I have therefore enjoyed an overview of Eamon’s style as a coach in multiple settings and groups. He is a wise and insightful expert coach, who enables the recipient of his facilitation to go on their own journey and achieve their goals, with the lightest of touch. I have also witnessed him unpack some challenging personalities in a safe and productive way. Dynamic in his approach Eamon will respond to the changing environment taking heed of evolving needs without losing sight of the original goals. As a one to one coach Eamon is a joy to work with using challenge as a tool to best bring out the developing needs of the individual. Always truthful and unrelenting in assisting the individual to get to their destination through their own hard work. He is of course, quite unusually brilliant.

Eamon has played a central role in helping me through critical points in my career (and indeed many aspects of my own personal development). I have worked with Eamon in the capacity of either, personal coach or team advisor / coach since 2004. On every occasion he has fully supported my development and thinking, offering a helpful nudge where needed, an alternative way of viewing a situation and importantly helping me recognise success. He brings true depth of thinking, he knows the theory inside out and applies this appropriately. Having worked with him on a 1:1 basis and with broader cross functional teams scenarios I can testify to his ability to adapt and tailor programme content to the situation and specific dynamics. Eamon has my complete endorsement.

I have known Eamon a long time and worked with him in a number of different capacities over the past 15 years - he has been a fantastic thinking partner, helping me to channel my thinking and take it further, helping me to build teams with a very clear sense of purpose and inclusion. I have learnt a great deal from talking things through with him and he invariably points me in the direction of literature that really helps flesh out the idea. I have also worked with Eamon to establish teams and structure their purpose. I would not hesitate to recommend Eamon as a coach

Eamon has been absolutely pivotel as my executive coach and thinking partner for me since I took on a more senior and strategic management role 3 years ago. He was an initial sounding board for me as I got to grips with the new role managing a diverse team, helping me fire fight the many challenges one faces in a new role, as well as working with me on longer term development in this role with a view to the next one. I have found him to fairly challenge me around my thinking and judgement, highlight my strengths (I have a tendancy to bypass this!) and help me focus on development goals. He is personable, knowledgable and a very good listener and I always enjoy our face to face as well as telephone sessions. In summary I couldn't have progressed within my sales director role without his guidance and support. LT, Sales Director

Eamon has been my personal 'thinking partner' for over 10 years and has been an enormous help to both my work environment and personal career development. He has helped me think through my work development issues, education and training projects and leadership, management and coaching initiatives. Thinking out loud with Eamon stimulates action and movement towards achieving personal and work related goals. He is a trusted and effective coach that simplifies and clarifies issues to help me identify positive solutions. He is an expert facilitator of learning and development and has shared his knowledge effectively on the RFU elite coach development programme which supports professional rugby coaches. He builds rapport quickly, connects with people and supports and challenges them to be the best versions of themselves. His unique approach is engaging, enthusiastic and inspiring. I greatly value Eamon's support and would highly recommend him for both individual and team development. I found Eamon at just the right time and he adapted his approach to exactly what I needed at the time and we adopted the phrase thinking partner'. Our meetings were very helpful to me in thinking through my next steps ...and in the bargain we did some very interesting and novel thinking around second sigmoid curves. His calm, measured and insightful approach is deceptively powerful.

I first worked with Eamon on a one to one coaching programe over the period of a year which really supported my development. Eamon has the right balance of really listening to you, helping you sort your own thinking and challenging you to do something with it! Being able to identify and focus on my strengths has not only benefited my career but my personal life also. I felt challenged but very supported and this ultimately enabled me to secure a significant promotion I never thought I would be able to achieve. We have now embarked on the Squad mentality programe with my team which after just one workshop is already having a positive impact. We are taking a high peforming team to the next level with even greater engagement, motivation and performance. Penny Shaddick - Head of Healthcare Partnerships
