About me

Executive Coach in Cambridge, Bedford & London

Margaret has an extensive background in Human Resources working across all employment sectors and understands the demands that leaders and managers face in these often stressful and uncertain times. As a qualified Psychotherapist & Coach, Margaret is able to work at psychological depth to get to the heart of an issue to help the client to understand ways of thinking that might be holding them back. She understands that at the heart of really good coaching is the need to build a strong working relationship.
As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) and an Associate of the CIPD for over four years, Margaret is pragmatic in understanding the strategic drivers for success and integrating this into her work.

Environment to Grow

At the heart of Margaret's strength, is her ability to listen. She creates the right environment for the client to grow in their self-awareness by understanding themselves and their drivers much more clearly. Clients report that she is warm, empathetic, supportive and challenges in constructive ways to improve the skill-sets of her clients.

Coaching Supervision

Margaret recognises the challenges of working with clients and the need for coaches to be very self-aware and resourceful in their work. Taking her deep knowledge of psychology, she uses the 7-eyed model for supervision developed by Hawkins & Shohet to 'look beneath the surface'. Margaret uses her highly- tuned listening skills in supervision to develop the coaches that she works with.

Integrating Nature

Margaret is very interested in nature and the research which is emerging which shows the mental health benefits of being in nature and achieving 'cognitive quiet'. Where possible, and only with a client's permission, Margaret integrates nature into her coaching and supervision work.

Margaret works across all organisations and at all levels. She is particularly adept at working with individuals who may experience a crisis of confidence or feel overwhelmed.
