About me

I come to coaching from a senior business background, including at board-level. This means I have first-hand experience and knowledge of the challenges that you may be facing and expertise in how to successfully deal with them. Throughout my career, I have mentored, coached and led numerous training events and workshops.

I focus on the corporate sector working with individuals and teams to help them hone their personal performance which leads to better professional satisfaction and helps them deliver more value to the businesses in which they work.

My sector expertise spans legal, financial and insurance services. My leadership style, people management and marketing skills have been honed over 30 years of working in the City of London. During which time, I have helped a diverse range of people to develop their potential and has contributed to building successful professional service brands.

Over my career, I have led the successful rebranding and repositioning of four different organisations. My career includes posts as Head of Marketing at Lloyd’s of London, Head of Brand & Communication at Lombard Asset Finance and Director of Marketing & Business Development at Baker McKenzie LLP (UK). I was also CEO of Devereux Chambers, a leading commercial set of barristers.

Most recently, I led the Internal Coaching, Marketing & Business Development functions at Saunderson House, an independent firm of wealth managers. I was a member of their Executive Committee responsible for strategy, operations and talent management.

I also served as a NED on the board of the Chartered Management Institute and chaired their External Affairs and Insight Committee.

I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching which is accredited by the University of Chester and the International Coach Federation (ICF). I also hold the credential of Associate Certified Coach (ACC) issued by the International Coach Federation (ICF). I adhere to the ICF Global Code of Ethics.

I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and possess a BA (Hons) in Humanities and Social Studies. I am a Chartered Manager (Chartered Management Institute) and Chartered Marketer (Chartered Institute of Marketing).

My practice is designed to meet individual needs and to help people consider their options and choices. I embrace a wide range of coaching models. I am particularly experienced in using strength-based models. I focus on helping my clients build a Growth Mindset.

My coaching style is energising, practical and grounded in business. My approach is based on trust and mutual respect. My practice is non-judgmental and collaborative yet challenging in a way that stretches people beyond their comfort zone. In my view, it is in the stretch zone that personal development and real growth takes place.

I now work full time as an executive coach, mentor, trainer and facilitator. I live in Tunbridge Wells with my husband, two welsh springer spaniels and a maine coon cat.

Jennifer in house counsel. Beverly is an amazing coach. Beverly inspired me to believe in myself when no one else would. I had been trying to change job and get into a different industry but was finding it impossible with Agencies saying it wasn't possible to make the jump however not only did Beverly guide and advise me in the run up to getting my present role she also helped me practically with tips and resources to get a pay increase which I did. If you are looking for an inspirational, kind and professional coach you can do no better than Beverly Landais.

A one of a kind coach! Beverly comes with impeccable credentials from her business background and leverages her experience to understand you as an individual. As a marketing professional, her experience particularly resonated with me because the tailored tools and take-aways that she equipped me with during, and after our sessions, were practical and employable in real work situations. But whether your career is in business or otherwise, Beverly’s considered approach is sure to help you whether you are starting out in a leadership role or an established leader facing a challenging situation. Beverly approaches each problem with authenticity and helps you, as an individual come to your own solutions – in essence, Beverly helps inspire future leaders. Book Beverly and you will not regret it. Sandra Hatugari

Fantastic coach!!! I had some tough University interviews to start Adult Nursing, Beverly helped me with tips to calm my nerves and positive ways to present myself which I still often use. My interview coaching helped me greatly and I was very pleased to receive all five offers from my chosen Universities. Having the opportunity to have a lesson regarding my interview skills enabled me with the confidence to take the next step in my career, I am very thankful! JJM

I have worked with Beverly Landais as my one-on-one coach since the start of 2016, and also had coaching from Beverly as part of a group of three other team leaders across the business since the start of 2015. My coaching has focused on the two goals of business development (as a financial adviser catering to high net worth individuals) and team management. Beverly is an excellent coach and I would be happy to advocate her to anyone looking for a coach. In my experience, Beverly applies a very challenging as well as a very supportive approach. The example models we discuss and she applies are always practical and straightforward in their application, and her coaching was always dynamic, so we focussed on my recent experiences, using real examples of interactions with clients, prospective clients and my team, and Beverly would always have very useful suggestions for techniques and approaches to improve the outcome. In her coaching, she would challenge me and my thinking, to get me to arrive at the solution. Beverly is also very thorough in following up, proactively providing links to articles and websites and details of models which we might have touched upon in our sessions, as well as setting some appropriate goals, targets and follow up for me to complete before our next session. The benefits have been many and varied. I have become more efficient in my role in terms of business development, it has opened up new avenues of thought which has enabled me to converse with the right kind of people, given our service characteristics. I am more self-aware and believe I have improved significantly in my role since my coaching. Mark Everitt.
